The Grand Canyon J+36/37

Nous avons passé deux jours dans le Grand Canyon et c’est vraiment très impressionnant. On a presque l’impression que des petits malins ont affiché un poster géant de ce paysage tellement il est irréel… mais non cette vallée incroyable creusée par le Colorado est bien devant nos yeux. Nous avons aussi fait une «petite» rando en descendant dans le canyon. Au total ce sont presque 1'000 m de dénivelé de descente puis de remontée que nous avons fait en 4h30 (au lieu de 6 à 9h comme annoncé !), autant dire que ça nous a cassé les pattes !!!

We spent two days in the Grand Canyon and it is really impressive. It almost looks like smart little people have put a giant poster of this landscape since it appears so unreal... but this incredible valley carved by the Colorado is truly in front of our eyes. We also did a "small" hike down the canyon. Altogether, the height difference between the top and the bottom was almost 1'000 m that we did in 4h30 (instead of 6 to 9h as announced!), our legs were quite painful after that!!!
