Nous sommes arrivés hier soir dans la famille qui a accueilli ma sœur pendant plusieurs mois au Texas. Dwayne et Marsha Thomasson nous ont accueillis comme des rois dans leur fabuleuse maison et nous avons partagé un repas avec leur fils Ryan et sa femme qui viennent d’avoir une merveilleuse petite fille Teagan.

Aujourd’hui, nous avons visité le Capitol à Austin après avoir dégusté un très bon repas avec Dwayne dans un restaurant chinois. L’après-midi nous sommes allés dans les magasins dont Cabela’s. Ce dernier est un magasin d’affaires de chasse, pêche, camping et d’armes. Au Texas les armes sont très appréciées et on peut en porter une à la ceinture. Il est donc possible d’acheter des armes et de munitions dans un magasin comme on fait ses courses ! Nous avons terminé la journée dans un super bar/ restaurant de San Marcos avec Dwayne, Ryan et des amis à lui. Nous avons passé un excellent moment avec eux à discuter de notre aventure.

Last night, we arrived in the family that hosted my sister for several months in Texas. Dwayne and Marsha Thomasson welcomed us as kings in their fabulous house and we shared a meal with their son Ryan and his wife who just had a wonderful little girl Teagan.

Today, we visited the Capitol in Austin after enjoying a very good meal with Dwayne at a Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, we went to the stores including Cabela’s. This is a store for hunting, fishing, camping and weapons. In Texas, weapons are very popular and we can wear one on the belt. It is therefore possible to buy weapons and ammunition in a store as you shop in a grocery store! We ended the day in a great bar / restaurant in San Marcos with Dwayne, Ryan and his friends. We had a great time with them to discuss our adventure.
