Arrival of my sister and my father J+81

3h du matin et nous voilà debout pour aller chercher Denis et Coralie à l’aéroport de San José. 5h, nous sommes devant l’aéroport et on vient de voir atterrir l’avion ; 5h30, les voilà enfin ! Je suis tellement heureuse de les voir. On commence la journée par un petit déjeuner dans un restaurant typique puis on s’arrête voir les crocodiles qui vivent paisiblement sous le pont de la route qui mène à Jaco ; ils sont vraiment impressionnants et on n’a pas trop envie d’aller se baigner avec eux.

Après avoir pris leurs quartiers, on file à la plage pour l’activité de la journée : le SURF. C’est une grande première pour nous deux et pour Denis. Grâce à la leçon de surf de Coralie et tous ses conseils, nous avons réussi à nous mettre debout sur la planche mais les sensations de glisse ne durent pas longtemps avant la chute et il y en a eu beaucoup… Pas de blessure majeure à part quelques coups de planche dans les vagues puissantes et les coups de soleil. Par contre une planche n’a pas survécu à la technique imparable de Thomas : le nez de la planche s’est cassé sur le fond dans une vague !

3am, time to wake up to pick up Denis and Coralie at San Jose airport. 5am, we are in front of the airport and we saw the airplane landing. 5:30am, here they are finally! I'm so happy to see them. We start the day with a breakfast in a typical restaurant and then we stop to see the crocodiles that live peacefully under the bridge of the road which leads to Jaco; they are really impressive and we do not really want to swim with them.

After our arrival in Jaco, we went directly at the beach for the activity of the day: SURF. It is the first time for both of us and for Denis. Thanks to the surf lesson of Coralie and all hers tips we managed to get up on the board but the sensations of gliding did not last long before the fall and there were many of them... No major injury except a few shots of board in the powerful waves and sunburns. Nevertheless, the great surf skills of Thomas leads to the surf board to break in a big wave!
