Panama city J+97

4h du mat’ et nous voilà tous les quatre à Panama city avec Caroline et Anthony. Après avoir pu nous délester de nos sacs à leur hôtel, nous prenons la direction du canal de Panama suite à un petit déjeuner obligé. Le canal est véritablement incroyable par sa dimension et surtout depuis qu’une expansion (3ème voie) ait été inaugurée en juin dernier (haha n’est-ce pas Caro ?). On regarde un bateau passé, on parcourt le musée et on manque de s’endormir devant le film de la construction… La nuit dans le bus a été plus que courte et la fatigue se fait sentir. Pause déjeuné au food court du centre commercial avec des sushi et churros fourrés au Nutella pour le dessert, tout ce qu’il faut !

On traine un peu l’après-midi dans un centre commercial et, en soirée, nos amis nous raccompagnent jusqu’à notre auberge tout en passant par le bord de mer. C’est vraiment sublime. On en oublierait qu’on est en Amérique centrale avec tous ces buildings ! Nous faisons de gros bisous à nos amis et avons hâte que nos chemins se croisent à nouveau plus au Sud…

It is 4 in the morning and we are all the four in Panama city with Caroline and Anthony. After being able to drop off our bags to their hotel, we take the direction of the Panama Canal after a necessary breakfast. The canal is truly incredible by its size and especially since an expansion (3rd way) which was inaugurated last June (haha that’s right Caro ?). We look a boat pass the lock, we go through the museum and we fall asleep watching the construction film ... The night on the bus has been more than short and we all fell the fatigue. We took a lunch break at the food court of the mall with sushi and churros stuffed with Nutella for dessert. All you need to get some strength (and fat)!

We walked a bit in the mall during the afternoon and in the evening our friends went with us to our hostel by passing by the seaside. It is really sublime and we forget that we are in Central America with all these buildings! Many kisses to our friends whom we look forward to cross their road again in the south …
