Transfert to Philippines J+328

Nous quittons Hong Kong avec le cœur un peu serré car Thomas a vécu pas mal de choses là-ba. C’était vraiment super de suivre ses pas et de retrouver tous ces souvenirs. Contrairement à ce que je pensais, nous ne nous sommes pas ennuyés et y reviendrons au moins pour voir l’ambiance des courses équestres « d’Happy Valley » qui n’ont pas lieu en aout et septembre pour préserver les jockeys et les animaux de la chaleur. Nous sommes à l’heure et l’airbus A330 est quasiment plein au décollage. Nous sommes surpris d’avoir un si bel avion pour ce trajet de quelques heures entre Hong Kong et Manilles. Nous avons notamment droit à des films en anglais sur un écran dernier cri, un repas et même un verre de vin blanc français, what else ? A notre arrivée à la capitale philippine, nous récupérons nos sacs et changeons de terminal pour notre correspondance pour l’ile de Cebu. Nous avions prévu large et en plus, en raison des conditions climatiques (pluies diluviennes), notre vol est décalé. Nous patientons sagement quelques heures dans une salle climatisée qui nous enrhume. J’espère que cela ne nous empêchera pas de plonger car c’est un peu pour ça qu’on est là ! Le vol finit par décoller avec 2h de retard mais l’important c’est qu’on arrive enfin à Cebu. Nous trouvons notre auberge et allons nous coucher parce qu’on est exténués de cette journée de transport.

We leave Hong Kong with a rather tight heart because Thomas has lived a lot of things there. It was really great to follow his steps and find all these memories. Contrary to what I thought, we did not get bored and will come back at least to see the atmosphere of the "Happy Valley" equestrian races that do not take place in August and September to preserve the jockeys and the animals of the heat. We had planned wide and in addition, because of the climatic conditions (torrential rains), our flight is shifted. We wait a few hours wisely in an air-conditioned room that brings us a cold. I hope this will not stop us from diving because it is a bit for that we are there! The flight ends up taking off 2 hours late but the important thing is that we finally arrive in Cebu. We find our inn and go to bed because we are exhausted from this day of transport.
